My Reflection about the Instructional Video





In the instructional video, It was a good experience because I have worked before with the use of create videos based on giving instructions. The task was in trios and therefore, we work more confident using the different skills that we possessed to be able to make the video as creative as possible. As a group, we decided to make a video giving instructions on how to use Pinterest for beginners.



The use of this social network is not as complex as others that have more elements to use them; However, it is necessary to give instructions to all those people who love the photographs that want to observe the world through a social network that shares that and many other things. The experience of giving instructions on an specific topic step by step was not entirely simple because it takes time and have an advanced vocabulary to be able to perfectly explain the use of a tool that many people use worldwide. The main objective was to give the best possible instructions and being understood during the video.

The most complicated thing in the video was the edition. It takes a lot of creativity and skill to do quality work and it is important to mention that it takes time to do this job. The experience of making this video was very gratifying because we worked as a team, and we talked clearly about the skills we had to be able to make this video. Immediately we put on the table a brainstorm to make the video, about who was going to record and bring all the elements for that, who would explain the use of the social network based on who had more experience in using it and who Was good editing videos. The three of us put all our effort and dedication to make this work the best of all.

As future teachers it is important to know how to use these tools because  are very useful in the classroom. Students love videos and it is a creative way of explaining different topics using this type of technology. We usually download videos already made on the internet, but it is much better to make one and putting our skills and creativity into practice.

My Reflection about the Audios




In the audio activity, we put our skills into practice in the use of technology. We used a program that was quite familiar, but for the first time we used it for educational purposes. I found very interesting to do a lesson plan based solely on audios because we usually incorporate other kinds of activities and most of the time we avoid including in a lesson plan the use of audios for fear that these activities will not work.

My experience in using audios for a class was very good because I had to record a specific topic in English. Like all work, I had difficulties doing it because I got nervous when I recorded and I had to articulate each word very well, also I had to make my voice sound clear. The use of audios in education is very important because we make students engage more in learning and they learn through the diversion and variety of classes. The use of this tool is very useful for educators because it facilitates teaching in a classroom. This makes the topics more easily developed and students understand quickly what is being taught.



Working on these types of tools is not easy for those who do not have any knowledge about their use; However nowadays we can find tutorials on the internet that help us to manage as an expert this technological tools. As teachers we must be at the forefront of all these wonders because they definitely help us enormously to develop our classes in an original way. Our students will thank us in the long term to involve technology in their lives because in the future they will implement these tools for their own use.

During the process of doing the lesson plan was quite interesting because we had many topics in mind and many activities came immediately to our head. At first, we said that thirty minutes was a lot for audios, but while we did the audios, we realized that time was not enough. We split the audios by doing five minutes each and vary the activities to avoid boring the students. Making these audios was undoubtedly a unique experience because are tools that we are getting to know and that I will definitely use them in the future to offer my students a quality education.
